About UsMy name is Danielle (CPDT-KA) and I'm the human of Out of this World Dog training. I can't really say I'm the "face" of it, because that title would go to my dog, Moon. I grew up with dogs, but Moon really kickstarted my passion for dog training. Moon (AKC's To the Moon & Back RA CGCU CGCA TKA VSWB BCAT CA) is a deaf cattle dog mix, and together we compete in Rally, Obedience, FastCAT/CAT, and Scent-work. Moon is task trained, knows over 50 signs, and has several titles through the AKC. His absolute favorite is FastCAT! He is my demo dog, neutral dog, and in general a great help.
We recently brought home a new puppy as well, a 6 month old Doberman named Mars (Andella's Opportunity Rover TKN). Mars will be following in Moon's footsteps, participating in sports, and will make a great demo dog someday alongside his brother! I myself am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Service Dog Coach (SDC). I also have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Florida State University. |
We are PupPod Affiliates! The PupPod is our choice for a treat dispenser & dog camera. Why? Because it lights up!! As someone who lives and works with deaf dogs, this is a huge plus for me. A lot of the dog camera/treat dispensers on the market rely on dogs being able to hear when a treat is being dispensed, or two way audio in order to talk to your dog. Obviously, with a deaf dog, this isn't ideal. The PupPod lights up when you dispense a treat, so it can get a deaf dog's attention from across the room! And it's not just a treat dispenser and camera; it is also a game for your dog! Similar to the Kong Wobbler and the PetGeek Button treat dispenser, it comes with a toy that your dog can interact with in order to earn treats, and there are even different levels they can work through (level 1= touch the toy for a reward, level 2= touch the toy when it lights up for a reward, etc).
